Description
Summer hats with upturned brims and brocaded pointed tops were worn by women and men in the Middle Ages. A fanciful knot has crowed the hat. It was once thought to represent a powerful enemy-frightening force. Mongols wore the hat or the flat-topped “Toortsog” hat with six gores in the summer. All the women have this hat during the summer time.
