MB has been working in wide-ranging fields to connect Mongolia business to the world throughout its 2-year history. Our focus has shifted as necessary in line with the times. However, our permanent mission has been to contribute to the development and competitiveness of Mongolian economy. We do this by supporting companies and regional authorities seeking vitalization through global business.
Looking at Mongolia today, the country faces significant changes in economic and social structure. At the same time, we see population growth and rising income levels around the world, notably in emerging economies. In this light, it is clear that there is an increasing need to incorporate the vibrancy of other countries into Mongolia for our mutual economic growth.
MB’s role continues to include helping Mongolian large corporations. However, we have been increasingly assisting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and producers of agricultural, mining, tourism and food products in developing overseas markets. Simultaneously, we have been attracting more investment into Mongolia from international organizations.
The expansion of the digital economy has been of particular focus in recent years. The cutting-edge technologies of the fourth industrial revolution—exemplified by artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and new business models like sharing services—are thriving. Therefore, connecting Mongolian companies to overseas ecosystems in these areas is another critical MB role.
Of course, we also remain dedicated to enhancing the quality of our collection and analysis of information and provision of insight regarding markets, economies and political environments across the globe. This has been a primary mission of MB since its establishment.
